Exciting New Trail Coming to Burlington’s West End: The Tyendinaga Trail

I’m always paying attention to the little things that make a neighbourhood truly special. One of the newest developments that has me particularly enthusiastic is the progress on Burlington’s Tyendinaga Trail. This two-kilometre recreational path is creating a beautiful new connection right in the heart of west Burlington.

The trail links City View Park at the top of the Niagara Escarpment, winds through the stunning natural setting of Kerncliff Park, and connects down to the Tyandaga Golf Course clubhouse area. What makes this project even better is the support it received from federal funding through FedDev Ontario’s Tourism Growth Program. That investment is helping turn this green corridor into something that will serve the community for years to come.

I’ve shown plenty of properties near Kerncliff and the escarpment over the years, and the views from up there! This new trail adds an easy, multi-use path that’s perfect for walking, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors in every season. It’s being designed as a welcoming space.

What I appreciate most, from a real estate perspective, is how projects like this quietly strengthen the appeal of the surrounding neighbourhoods. When you combine beautiful homes with easy access to nature, parks, and trails, it creates that lifestyle people move here for.

Thank you for reading.
